Why we only do outdoor kitchens
Northeast Florida is full of gorgeous homes and beautiful outdoor kitchens — and very few white-glove options for getting them serviced properly. Homeowners are left choosing between a handyman with a wire brush, a pressure-washing crew that treats a $10,000 grill like a driveway, or doing the greasy, knuckle-scraping teardown themselves. Usually, the answer is that it simply doesn't get done, and the grill quietly declines until something fails, leading to expensive repairs or even replacements.
First Coast Outdoor Kitchen Care exists to be the specialist that gap deserves. We clean, inspect, and restore built-in grills and outdoor kitchens, that's it! We know how a Lynx comes apart, why one burner on a Blaze runs cold, where a Bull hides its grease tray, and what salt air does to 304 stainless versus 430. We're a local, owner-operated company. That's also why the phone gets answered by a human: we exclusively live and work locally, and Jax is a small town. Our reputation is everything, and we want to get to know you, understanding that we will likely see you again even outside of grill maintenance!

About the owner
My name is John, and I grew up right here in Jax. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from being in the kitchen with my mom and grandmother, watching them work literal magic while I asked questions about how it all worked, how they knew what to do without directions. I started grilling for my friends at age 15, and have loved everything about the act of cooking for others ever since. There's something about an outdoor family gathering centered around the smell of meats and vegetables on a grill that inspires joy in everyone. I started this business to help people create more of those memories, and make sure nobody has to ever worry about whether the outdoor kitchen they paid as much as a new Mercedes for is going to hold up this year.
The best part of this job is getting to see what people build out back. Jacksonville homeowners put real thought and real money into their outdoor entertainment areas, and those spaces deserve someone who treats them that way. When I show up at your house, I'm the person who quoted the work, and I'm the person you'll call next year. That's exactly how I want it.
