Outdoor Kitchen Cleaning + Inspection in Jacksonville

A dirty grill is an inconvenience. A failing grill is a hazard. Our cleaning + inspection service combines our complete deep clean with a systematic 25-point evaluation of your outdoor kitchen’s safety and performance — finished with a written report you can actually act on.

Built-in grills live outside year-round in Florida humidity and salt air. Regulators corrode, venturi tubes host spiders (a genuinely common cause of flashback fires in the Southeast), igniter electrodes drift out of position, and gas fittings loosen with thermal cycling. None of this is visible from the deck chair — and all of it is easy to catch during a proper teardown, which is exactly when we inspect.

What the inspection covers

Because the grill is already fully disassembled for cleaning, we can evaluate components a surface-level “inspection” never sees:

  • Gas system. Soap-test every accessible connection for leaks; check the regulator, hoses, and shutoff valve condition.
  • Ignition. Test every igniter and electrode; verify spark position and crossover lighting between burners.
  • Burners and heat distribution. Evaluate flame pattern (blue vs. lazy yellow), check for rusted-through burner walls and clogged ports, and confirm even heat across the cooking surface.
  • Structure and hardware. Hinges, hood springs, grease tray tracks, door and drawer alignment, and signs of corrosion that will become failures.
  • Ventilation. Confirm island vents are present and unobstructed — a critical and commonly missed safety item on gas-plumbed islands.

The written report

Within 48 hours you receive a photo-documented condition report: what we found, what’s fine, what to watch, and what needs attention now — with straight recommendations. If a part needs replacing, we tell you exactly which one and why. If everything checks out, the report says that too, and it’s a useful record for insurance and for resale (buyers’ inspectors rarely evaluate outdoor kitchens; ours fills that gap).

We don’t sell repairs we can’t justify. The report is the deliverable — you decide what to do with it, and members get priority scheduling and discounted parts and labor when repair work is needed.

Who should book this instead of a standard cleaning?

If your grill is under three years old, lights reliably, and heats evenly, our standard grill cleaning is probably all you need. Book the cleaning + inspection when something feels off — hard starts, uneven heat, a gas smell, visible rust — or at any ownership milestone: a home purchase, a home sale, or a grill crossing the five-year mark. It’s also the required first visit for new membership customers, so we have a documented baseline of your equipment.

Pricing

Cleaning + inspection starts at $449, with most visits around $500 depending on grill size and the number of appliances (side burners, power burners, and built-in griddles can be added). You’ll have an exact price before we schedule — no on-site surprises.

If your outdoor kitchen has never been looked at by someone who specializes in outdoor kitchens, this is the place to start. Request a free quote below or call — you’ll always reach a human.
